I visited the Canadian National Vimy Memorial in France with my family this year and enjoyed the humbling experience very much.
By pure happenstance, I found the half-moon positioned perfectly between the two main columns of the memorial. And I took photograph after photograph to ensure I got what I considered to be a near-perfect shot.
(You may need to click for the larger image to see the moon, but I assure you that it is there.)
I believe this photograph qualifies for this week’s photo challenge; the columns tower away into seemingly infinity. And then there’s the moon.
