Travel Theme: Work

Ailsa’s Travel Theme this week is Work.

Here are a couple of my favourite shots depicting work, both taken at St. Fagans National History Museum of Wales.

The first image is of the Gwalia Supply Co. & General Ironmongers. Gwalia being the archaic Welsh name for Wales.

Interestingly for Doctor Who fans, this was the filming location for the cricket ball stunt in the 2007 two-parter; Human Nature and Family of Blood.

And here is a clever invention; harnessing the power of water. The Gorse Mill. A small stone built mill to prepare gorse to feed horses.
