I shoot RAW.
That means that there is very little image post-processing done on-board my camera. And, as a result, my photographs often look plain and ordinary when I start to review them in Lightroom.
I love post-processing my own images rather than allowing the camera that privilege. It has become an important part of photography for me, perhaps as important as the photography part itself. I do like to be in control of my final images.
Here is an old tractor that must have been photographed a zillion times by people visiting our local farm.
I have assembled a small gallery of the same image, with different post-processing techniques applied, purposefully, to contrast against each other for this week’s Photo Challenge.
Which is your favourite image?
