Cwmbran Remembrance Sunday 2016

Photographs of the Cwmbran Remembrance day parade and service, 13th November, 2016.

The parade began at 10:25am and made its way via Commercial Street and Victoria Street to the First World War Memorial Clock Tower in Old Cwmbran for prayers. The Chairman of Cwmbran Community Council then unveiled a wreath of poppies that was fixed to the clock’s tower. The parade then continued along Victoria Street, Oldbury Road and Henllys Way to the War Memorial in Cocker Avenue Park. The service there was conducted by Reverend Victoria Ashley, Cwmbran Benefice.

After the service, the parade continued to St. Gabriel’s Church where a Civic Service was held.
